Privacy Notice (KVKK)

This notice is provided under Article 10 of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) to inform people who use the contact form on gkcgrup.com.tr and who contact us by email to apply for a job. The Turkish text prevails if the two versions differ.

Data controller

Your personal data is processed by GKC Grup Teknoloji A.Ş. as the data controller.

Personal data processed and purposes

You do not need to create an account or enter data to browse this website. Data is processed only when you fill in the contact form or send us an email, and only the information you provide.

• Contact form: full name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), subject, the business areas you are interested in, message, and the files you attach to the form and the information they contain. Purpose: to receive and assess your request and to reply to you.
• Job applications: job applications are not accepted through the contact form; when you email your CV to the address we provide for job applications, your email, the CV file and the information in it. Purpose: to assess your application and to contact you when a suitable position opens.

Please do not include special categories of personal data, such as health, religion or association membership, in your CV or messages.

Legal basis

Your data is processed on the basis of Article 5(2) of the KVKK: that processing is necessary to fulfil your request, necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller; for job applications, also for the purpose of assessing your application.

Recipients and transfer abroad

Information you send through a form is delivered by email to info@gkcgrup.com.tr and is seen only by the relevant employees of GKC Grup Teknoloji A.Ş. CVs reach kariyer@gkcgrup.com.tr directly by email, are seen only by the relevant employees and do not pass through the form delivery service described below.

Your form data is processed on the server that hosts this website (Hetzner, Germany); it is not stored on that server, is used only for delivery, and is forwarded to info@gkcgrup.com.tr through the email service of GKC Grup Teknoloji A.Ş. (bildirim@gkcgrup.com.tr). Files you attach to the form are delivered in the same way. Because the server is located abroad, this is a transfer abroad within the meaning of Article 9 of the KVKK; the legal basis for the transfer is determined by the data controller.

The website is served from a server hosted in a Hetzner data centre in Germany. The server keeps access logs (IP address, date and time, requested address) for security and troubleshooting for 14 days and then deletes them.

Your data is not shared with third parties except where required by law and is not used for marketing.

Retention

• Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve the request.
• CVs are kept for the duration of the assessment process and for the retention period set by GKC Grup Teknoloji A.Ş.; afterwards they are deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may apply to the data controller to:

• learn whether your personal data is processed,
• request information if it has been processed,
• learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
• know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad,
• request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
• request deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 and ask that this be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred,
• object to an outcome against you that results from analysis of the data solely by automated systems,
• claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

How to apply

Send your requests by email to info@gkcgrup.com.tr or in writing to the postal address above. Applications are concluded within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.

Changes

This notice may be updated to reflect changes in legislation or in our data processing. The current version is published on this page; the date at the top is the date of the last update.
